At Pixel Mariner, privacy isn't just a policy—it's our foundation. We've built our service around the principle that your data belongs to you, and you alone.
We collect the absolute minimum required to provide our service:
All files are encrypted in your browser using AES-256 encryption before transmission. The decryption key is embedded in the share URL fragment (after the #), which is never sent to our servers. This means we cannot access, view, or decrypt your files—even if compelled by law.
We automatically delete files based on your chosen expiration settings:
Once deleted, files are permanently unrecoverable—even by us.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. We use reputable infrastructure providers (AWS, Cloudflare) who are contractually bound to protect your data. These providers cannot access encrypted file contents.
You have the right to:
We employ industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption for data in transit, encrypted storage at rest, regular security audits, and DDoS protection. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Material changes will be announced on our homepage 30 days before taking effect.
